I create Judaic illuminations in several mediums based upon my favorite Torah text, psalms and prayers. I also designs personalized, illuminated ketubot for the bride and groom. The images I create are joyful, contemporary, inspirational and speak to issues that guide us on our day-to-day journey. They are intended to bring blessing and holy reminders to every Jewish home.
I also present and teach hands on workshops for Temples, schools and organizations where participants of all ages and all levels of skill can learn about Judaic art and create their own unique piece for their home.
Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi has honored me as an Artist and Artisan in the Sacred Guild of the Disciples of Betzalel. The UAHC (Reform Movement) has selected several of my images for book, CD and songbook covers. Many images adorn greeting cards which can be purchased at fine gift and Judaica shops throughout America.
My work has been exhibited and extensively collected throughout America and is in private, organizational as well as Synagogue collections.
I works in several mediums including acrylic, as well as collage/multi media, for which I am noted. I have created bold and bright, large pieces that are appropriate for a Temple or can serve as a focal point in a home.
I am married to Rabbi/Chaplain Leon Olenick and I'm the mother of three grown children and 9 grandchildren, from whom I constantly draws inspiration and naches.

I have been privileged to present my work in many
fine juried art shows and galleries throughout America. It truly has been a pleasure meeting and selling my work to so many of you at these various venues.
Looking forward to seeing old and new friends during my upcoming summer midwest tour. My husband, and wonderful partner and helper, Leon, and I set up our tent, our "sucah shlomecha", our canopy of peace, and we have the great honor of selling my work to the many people that live in these communities.
They bring the artwork home to destinations throughout America, Europe, Australia, Canada, South and Central America - even Hong Kong. For many of these folks, it is the first piece of Judaica in their homes. I look forward to meeting old friends and making the acquaintance of new friends.
Keep posted for ever emerging new work.
